Storm Damage Gutter Replacement in Montrose, SD

Challenge

Kevin's home had both metal and seamed vinyl gutters around the house. After an overnight hailstorm, he woke up to shredded vinyl gutters that were now useless, as seen in the photo. If another round of storms rolled through, all that water would dump onto his driveway and other areas close to his foundation, which is one issue he certainly wanted to prevent. Kevin needed a good replacement, and he needed one quickly. 

Solution

Kevin came across Gutter Shutter on the internet and contacted our office looking to have someone stop out. Kiel Johnson, our Sioux Falls salesman, had an opening early the next morning, which was perfect for Kevin. Within a day, we had a proposal to replace all of the vinyl gutters around his home with our strong aluminum open-style system, totaling 105 feet. Kevin knew how important it was to push water away from his foundation and planned for 6-foot downspout extensions on all 3 downspouts. 

After a week of consideration and getting a few other quotes, Kevin accepted our offer. He planned to take the gutters down himself, so all our installers had to do was haul them away. Two weeks later, our crew made it out to his home and put up all the gutters within a couple hours. Kevin was now set with aluminum gutters that could at least remain functional through a hailstorm, and with our warranty we would replace them if any such damage did occur!
