Gutter Shutter offers a Drain Guard for your downspouts. In cases where debris does get in to your gutters, we know that it will flow out with the water. We are confident that we have installed the system correctly and we have used the proper parts and pieces to develop the best system. 

In the event that the downspout is going into a drain tile system, we want to make sure to keep this as clean and free of debris as possible. Installing a Drain Guard into your system will help ensure that anything that got into the system came out and was collected before going into your drain tile. 

The Drain Guard is a simple basket that you can insert into the downspout. The basket is full of perforated holes to allow debris to stay in the basket and allow the water to keep flowing out through the drain tile. You can periodically check this to see what debris has collected into the basket.
