A local homeowner of Hartford, SD requested a free estimate to get an upgrade to their current gutter system. The gutter guard screens on the system and small downspouts were failing to keep up with the many trees surrounding the home. Worsening the problem, the system was fully connected around the house, leading to buildups and overflows. Our South Dakota salesman, Kiel Johnson, was ready to help create a proposal for seamless gutters which met all the homeowner's needs.
The 220 feet of open-style gutter would be replaced entirely with our seamless Gutter Shutter system. To keep all 15 pieces of gutter guard connected, we would utilize 14 hand-cut miters around the variety of roofline corners. These miters allow installers to precisely match the angle of any house corner and create a sealed connection between two pieces of gutter. With all of the pieces connected around the house, all of the water was planned to be sent to two downspouts on each end of the house.
With the proposal completed, the homeowner was certain that Gutter Shutter was the best product. Does your gutter guard system need an upgrade? Contact our office today to see what Gutter Shutter can do for you!
A homeowner of Hartford, SD looking to evaluate the cost of putting reliable gutters on his metal-roof shop reached out to our office for a free estimate. The goal was to add onto one side of the building with a 70-foot run in order to cover two entrances and send all that water to lower ground. Kiel Johnson, our Sioux Falls salesman, was ready to build a plan.
To gain maximum water capture off the high-speed metal roof, Kiel planned to use the Gutter Shutter perforated hood. Because all of the water needed to be sent in one direction, Kiel recognized the need for two downspouts, each with its own wide mouth outlet, to ensure all of it rapidly made it out of the gutter.
We are happy to offer the worlds best gutter system and specialize in meeting homeowner needs to protect the investment in their property!
The seamed k-style gutters on Cindy's home in Crooks were getting past their useful life. A downspout had become disconnected from the gutter, several seams were bending, and a few downspout extensions were gone- leading to water dropping right next to the foundation. Thankfully, Cindy was a friend of Kiel Johnson, our South Dakota salesman, and knew who to call to get a good gutter system.
Kiel gave her an estimate for a full replacement of the old k-style system with our premium open-style gutters, RainGutters XL. All 139 feet of rooflines would be covered and each downspout secured and set with a proper extension. With one overlapping roofline, a short piece of gutter would send all of its water straight down into a lower section. Once the work contract was confirmed, Kiel handed the plan over to our production department.
Two weeks later, our installation crew made the trip to Crooks, ready to get the job done. Within a few hours, Cindy had a brand new gutter system on her home that was sure to stand the test of time. Are your gutters showing signs of too much wear and tear? Contact our office today so we can help you keep your home protected!
The gutters on David's home in Colton did not keep up well with leaves in the fall and wanted to do something about it. After looking around at a few products, he reached out to our office to learn about the Gutter Shutter system and what products we could offer. A short conversation with Amy Pederson, our office manager, set up an appointment for his free estimate.
Just a few weeks later, our owner Jason Borresch made it out to the house through a small snowstorm to draw up a proposal. Jason created two proposals for David, one for a full house replacement with Gutter Shutter and one for a screen installation. Each would offer better protection to the 218 feet of open-style gutter around the home. With an upgrade to the Gutter Shutter system, David would be able to rely on complete leaf protection and excellent drainage that would better manage the water volume coming off his roof.

The open-style gutters on Arlyne's home in Sioux Falls were beginning to show their wear and tear a bit too much. Their age, coupled with summer storms, were making them less and less effective. He decided to contact our office and find out how Gutter Shutter could protect his home better. A couple days later, Kiel Johnson, our Sioux Falls salesman, was out at the house to draw up a proposal.
The two-story home required a very customized plan, which our salesmen are experts at providing. A 12 foot and 30 foot piece was needed to cover the roofline on each side of the second story. Each of these would be connected by downspout into a lower gutter run. Rather than simply dumping water onto the roof, we ensure 100% water capture and good flow by inserting downspout through the Gutter Shutter hood and into the trough. Every downspout would also be equipped with our industry leading wide mouth outlets. These provide double the drainage capacity from each piece of gutter, compared to the downspout being directly attached. With this plan in place, Arlyne was confident Gutter Shutter was the right choice.
Our installation crew made it out to the house a couple weeks later on a brisk November day. In a full day of work, they put up all 117 feet of gutter and arranged the 62 feet of downspout.

Linda of Sioux Falls was looking for someone to redesign the downspout by her front door that leaked and did not reach all the way past the landscaping. Gutter Shutter of Sioux Falls was ready to help her out once she contacted our office for her free estimate.
Our regional salesman in South Dakota, Kiel Johnson, was ready to answer the call. He visited Linda's home on a great fall day to draw up the proposal. We would angle the downspout forward immediately and extend forward along the wall until reaching the corner, approximately 5 feet. A new piece would go straight down the wall several feet before kicking out into another section that would extend it 7 feet all the way to the grass.
Linda was satisfied that this plan would fix all of her issues and was happy to know of our lifetime workmanship warranty to fix any problems. Does your gutter system need adjustments or even replacement? Contact our office today to set up an appointment for a seamless gutter guard system!
The open-face gutters on a ranch-style home in Sioux Falls were showing their age and were poorly set up for a few bows in the fascia boards. Even worse, one portion of downspout simply fell off, draining water right onto the siding. After watching the system fail over time, the homeowner was ready to get a proper upgrade and reached out to our office for a free estimate of our seamless gutter system installation. Kiel Johnson, our South Dakota salesman, visited the home to create a plan that would equip the home with a perfect gutter protection system.
The major issue Kiel first noted was how poorly the existing gutters were mounted on the open rafters, leading to poor flow of water and pooling. To rectify this, we would install brand-new fascia boards and fully wrap them to provide a stable and protective mount for the gutters. Each side of the home would then receive a 40 foot piece of white Gutter Shutter. Our exclusive high-backing on the gutter would further reinforce the fascia and rafters. One downspout was needed on both pieces, each equipped with a 4x6 wide mouth outlet for maximum drainage capacity. With this plan in hand, the homeowner was sold on the world's strongest gutter system and signed off on the project.
With the approved plan, our production department kicked into gear to get the home protected. An installation crew was able to visit the home a couple weeks later fully equipped with fascia, gutters, and accessories. After a few hours of work, all 80 feet of fascia were mounted with a further 80 feet of seamless Gutter Shutter attached to them.

The one-piece covered seamless gutter system on Lana's house in Garretson were damaged by spring storms and due for replacement. After some searching, she came across our seamless covered system and was interested in learning about the upgrades we offered. Once she set up an appointment, Jason Borresch, our owner, was ready to visit her home and draw up a proposal for our seamless gutter guard system.
To fully protect the home, 246 feet of gutter would be needed, fully interconnected around every corner of the home. Our system uses strip miters to provide a sealed connection point that allows for flow between perpendicular gutter runs, and Lana's home would need 6 installed. During the interim of the sales appointment and installation, Lana decided to make a change to her downspout setup. Rather than having one drain into the backyard, she wanted it to extend 31 feet across the side of the house and drain down the driveway's slope. We adjusted our plan and waited for insurance approval to get the job done.
Once everything was ready to go, a crew was able to visit Garretson in early September. Two full days of work were needed to fully equip Lana's home with all 246 feet of Gutter Shutter and 67 feet of downspout. If your home and gutter system has been damaged by storms, don't wait for water problems to start! Contact our office today and see what gutter replacement options Gutter Shutter can offer you!
After Curtis' gutters were removed for a siding and fascia project, he was on the lookout for a new guttar guard system. Luckily, his neighbors were past customers and had just the product to recommend. Curtis reached out to our office and got an appointment set up for a free estimate of a new gutter installation. Our Sioux Falls salesman, Kiel Johnson, was ready to show him how Gutter Shutter could be the perfect fit for his home.
Kiel was ready to measure up the entire house and determine a solid plan for the installation of our seamless gutter system. He found that 138 feet of Gutter Shutter would be needed, installed across 13 different sections. These sections ranged from lengths of 1 foot to 56 feet to get each roofline covered. With several of these pieces connected around corners by miters, only 9 downspouts would be required to manage all of the water. The two smallest pieces, each 1 foot, was placed at a very crucial roofline intersection between the garage and house, protecting a very large roof area. Our wide mouth outlets allow even these small pieces to rapidly drain water to prevent a backup.
Once Curtis reviewed the plan, he was ready to get things moving and signed off on the proposal. Our production department kicked into gear and was able to get a crew out to the home three weeks later. A good day's work set up Curtis with his brand new Gutter Shutter system. If your home is ready for an upgrade, Gutter Shutter of Sioux Falls is ready to be your gutter company!
With roof repairs in the works after storms came through Sioux Falls, Scott decided it was a good time to update his home's gutter system. The old system was a basic open-face gutter and was reaching it's limit for wear and tear. After seeing a local ad, Scott reached out to our office and set up his appointment for a free estimate to learn more about our premium gutter guard system.
Kiel Johnson, our Sioux Falls regional salesman, was ready to show Scott the many benefits of our product. As the other home repairs were being completed, Gutter Shutter's installation would provide new coverage or the fascia boards by tying into the new drip edge. To cover every roofline, the ranch-style home would need 125 feet of Gutter Shutter installed across 4 pieces, leading to a total of 5 downspouts. Each downspout would be equipped wth our large wide mouth outlet, which enables maximum drainage capacity from the gutter trough. To color match the house, the tuxedo gray Gutter Shutter color was selected.
Once all the specially colored parts arrived, our production department was ready to get the job done. A crew was able to visit in late September and got all 125 feet of Gutter Shutter mounted in a day. If it's time for an upgrade on your home, Gutter Shutter stands ready to provide you with the best gutter protection system that will last!
The basic open-style gutters on Mark's home in Sioux Falls were in desperate need of replacement. General wear and tear over the years and recent tree damage during a storm lead him to decide it was time to update. Several downspouts were broken off and the gutters themselves were beat up. After searching around a few home improvement sites, he came across a Gutter Shutter listing and booked an appointment for one of our experts to measure up the home and create a replacement proposal. Kiel Johnson, our Sioux Falls salesman, was ready to help Mark out.
The two-story home ended up needing 3 out of its 4 pieces replaced, as one 2nd story piece was still intact and functioning well. Kiel drew up a plan for 62 feet of our premium open-style system, RGXL, and a replacement of the aged fascia boards to create a more stable surface to mount it out. RGXL's large trough size and extra-thick aluminum makes it a great fit for homes needing a simple and highly durable gutter system. Two full downspouts would be installed, each with a tip-up downspout extension for easy movement. A further downspout would drain the 2nd story piece into a lower section, pushing all of the water into the best drainage area.
After just 3 days, our Sioux Falls installation crew was able to make it to Mark's home and install all of the gutter and downspout in a few hours. If you're in need of a new gutter system, Gutter Shutter of Sioux Falls is the gutter contractor for you! We always strive to provide our customers with the best gutter system for their home to solve any water problems.
Mike was on the lookout for a seamless gutter guard system to put onto his shop in Hartford, SD. The large metal roof was simply sending all of its water right into the ground, creating a significant amount of mud at each entrance. He needed a strong system that could handle a lot of fast moving water without clogging. After inquiring through our dealer network, Mike was put in touch with our office and got an appointment set up for his free estimate.
Kevin Feldewerd, our regional salesman, was ready to visit Mike and draw up a plan. Each side of the shop would need a 45 foot piece of Gutter Shutter with a single downspout on the end. To provide for maximum drainage capacity from the trough, a wide mouth outlet would be installed on each one to transfer water right down into the downspout. Kevin also planned on having the intallers cut back the metal roof slightly so that all the water would land on the Gutter Shutter hood in an optimal spot for capture.
Effective water drainage is essential for any structure in order to protect the foundation and balance out the groundwater. Gutter Shutter of Sioux Falls is always ready to help homeowners get their perfect gutter protection system!
When a hailstorm came through Sioux Falls, Ted's seamless one-piece hooded gutter system was too damaged to keep functioning. He needed a quality gutter replacement, but wasn't sure about sticking with the same gutter system. He looked around for a local gutter company with a similar seamless gutter guard system and came across Gutter Shutter. After contacting the office, he set up a free estimate with our regional salesman and was ready to hear the pitch.
Ted's house needed 5 sections of roofline to be covered, and 125 feet of Gutter Shutter with perforated hood would provide that high-volume coverage. Fortunately, the downspouts on Ted's house were high quality and remained undamaged through the storm, allowing us to just reconnect them to our gutter once mounted. Because both systems are hooded and seamless, Gutter Shutter was accepted as a like-for-like replacement in the insurance plan for all of the house repairs needed.
Once the roof replacement was completed, our production department was ready to spring into action. Our installation crew made it out to the home and got all of Ted's gutter installed within a few hours. Whatever the problems may be with your gutter system, chances are they aren't protecting your home how they should. Gutter Shutter of Sioux Falls is always ready to provide a permanent solution that will protect your home from any water damage!
The long section on the front of Jerry's home in Salem, SD sustained some damage in late summer storms. With a seamless, one-piece covered gutter system all around his house, Jerry decided to evaluate a few replacement options. Once he discovered our seamless two-piece covered gutter system, Jerry was ready to make a change. Kiel Johnson, our Sioux Falls area salesman, was ready to help draw up a proposal to get the piece replaced.
Jerry's home required a single seamless gutter run of 76 feet to cover the front roofline. In contrast to his existing solid hood system, Jerry opted for Gutter Shutter's high-volume perforated hood to maximize the water capture. Luckily, the existing downspouts were in good enough shape to be re-used and were up to our standard for size and setup. Once Kiel showed Jerry the plan, he was ready to sign off on the work.
As soon as the snow melted, our production department kicked into gear and Jerry's home was the first one scheduled for the 2023 season. In a quick day's work, our installation crew put up all 76 feet and equipped the home with a brand new gutter guard system!
The open-style seamless gutters on Tom's home in Sioux Falls, SD consistently clogged up and leaked even though the trees were a good distance from the house. After talking with a neighbor who had just had our system installed, he set up an appointment for himself to see how we could guarantee a no-clog system.
Once he met with our salesman Kiel and was given a full product demonstration with a gutter installation plan, he just needed a few days to make sure he could move forward with the project. As soon as he signed off on the work, our production department start gathering material and put him on the schedule. A couple weeks later a crew was out installing all 96 feet of the Gutter Shutter he needed. All 3 of the planned downspouts were installed with a hinged tip-up downspout extension to accomodate the landscaping around the home.

The one-piece hooded seamless gutter system on Renee's home in Sioux Falls, South Dakota was not performing as well as was needed, and after a few storms came through the area, it was pretty clear an upgrade had to happen soon. Renee was familar with our company working in the area and decided to give us a call and see what set our system apart. An appointment was set up and our Sioux Falls area salesman, Kiel Johnson, went out to provide a proposal.
After measuring up the home and identifying the key problem areas, Kiel determined that 132 feet of the old gutters should be replaced with our bigger and better system. Luckily, the existing downspouts were of high quality and had almost no issues, so we would be able to re-attach them to the new gutters. Around the home, we would install 9 individual pieces of Gutter Shutter , with several being connected around roofline corners by miters. Our miters help us create a water-tight seam between perpendicular gutter runs that maximizes water flow.
Once Renee reviewed the plan and approved it, the paperwork was handed over to our production department to get the project rolling. We got a crew out to the home in November and they put up all 9 sections of gutter and re-attached the 6 downspouts in one good day of work. Whatever gutter work needs to get done, Gutter Shutter of Sioux Falls is ready to help you along the way!
Mrs. L was struggling with water in her basement. She had come up with a solution of having these black pipes running all over her landscape to help get the water away from her house and out in the back yard, Gutter Shutter of Sioux Falls was able to come up with a solution to this unsightly water control system.
Gutter Shutter of Sioux Falls came out and dug in some drain tile and drain basins. This would allow the water removal system to all work together. All the downspouts were able to join together with the drain basins and flow out across her yard and daylight out where the water can run free.
Deb called in looking to have her gutters cleaned. The gutters have been installed many years ago and they may also need to have some repairs. She reached out to Gutter Shutter for some help. We came out to see what was going on with her gutters. After a thorough Inspection was done, we advised about all the potential repairs the gutters would need.
Gary had a leak in his gutters by the back corner of the house. He put in a new cement slab on the side of his garage. He realized when it rains it drips down on to his new cement, and he is worried about it freezing in the wintertime. After doing a thorough inspection the design specialist realized that there was a downspout in that corner and the homeowner had removed the downspout and patched the hole. With the old-style gutters on the house, Spike and Ferrule, it's a very hard system to remove the spike to adjust the gutters. He will need to have his gutters re-slopped away from that corner and back to the existing downspout. With out re-slopping this home will continue to have a problem in this section. The water will continue to pool in that area where the downspout was removed. This water will continue to deteriorate any sealant used in that section and cause it to leak. Not to mention the issues that the gutter will cause having standing water in them all the time. That water if left there in the wintertime will freeze and expand causing even more damage to the area.
