The Gutter Shutter System Photo Album: Full House Replacement with Gutter Shutter in Tea, SD
This home in Tea, SD was in need of a new gutter protection system, as the old open-style gutters were starting to fail the homeowners. Nearby trees often clogged up the gutters and the winter buildup of snow and ice started further problems by weighing down the trough, pushing water into areas that should stay covered. The homeowners knew they needed a quality system for gutter replacement and settled on our highly durable and anti-clogging seamless Gutter Shutter system.
Overall, the project required a total of 147 feet of white Gutter Shutter along with 69 feet of downspout to cover every roofline around the house. To help protect the patio, the homeowners also requested the installation of heat tape through 35 feet of gutter and 13 feet of downspout. Our one-man installation crew had to diligently plan out the heat tape to ensure it was properly installed over every foot. With Gutter Shutter's detachable hood, he was able to work with an open gutter trough and then fully enclose the system over the heat tape after emplacing it along the length of the gutter runs.
